I just wanted to take the time today, on the German holiday (The day The Wall cam down), talk about my place of work.
If you have or have not checked out Patisserie Walter, I’ve provided some photos of things I’ve been doing over the past 5 weeks of working here!
5 weeks already?! Wow, time really flies when you love what you’re doing.
This first one is the oh-so-traditional, Sacher Torte. However, not in the oh-so-traditional cake form.
This one is absolutely stunning and my favorite of them all. This is the Strawberry Panna Cotta wrapped in mint. Not only is it mouth watering, but aesthetically beautiful.
These sweet sushi pieces are the single greatest idea I’ve ever seen. They have a mango core with rice pudding and are wrapped in mint. How cute?!
This “Zuger Kirsch” also aesthetically pleasing filled with cherries, buttercream and a cherry brandy.
Finally, I know you all know what carrot cake is! I did this one yesterday and find its small form the perfect size to pop in your mouth.
I have really been enjoying these fast 5 weeks, learning so much on a daily basis. I love how everyday is a surprise as to what we’re going to be making. I really think my time at the Patisserie will be extremely worth while!
