Being a dessert/ baking blog, it’s only natural that I wanted to make a dessert for Father’s Day.
However, it seemed a bit backwards to put up some dainty dish that can’t really relate to Dads in general.
I sat down and thought about what my Dad might want in a dessert. I was trying to think outside of the box and really nail what my Dad loves…
Here, my friends, I have created the manliest dessert I could come up with! Yes, dainty it may look… but I promise you that it is manly in flavor in every way!
Manly Milk Chocolate Beer Mousse Dessert
A beer mousse?! Did I really just put beer in my mousse?! Only for you Dad! You were in every way my inspiration for this creation and I have to say, it was a fantastic success!
The best part about this dessert, is that it is best served with a nice full glass of your Dads favorite beer. What more could he ask for?
This one’s for you Dad, because you’re awesome!
So what beer did I actually use? With influence from my Dad, I’m into the smaller breweries or “craft beer.” I didn’t want to pull just any beer off the shelf for this dessert!
You’re only as good as your ingredients… and I believe that in every way!
Faust Schwarzviertler Dunkler – Faust beer is an amazing small brewery that brews for the locals, here, in Miltenberg, Germany! I love their beer and their overall concept! It’s something that I will miss once I leave this little city!

60 g egg yolks (3 yolks)
