What kind of cake do you make for a grilling enthusiast??? For someone who would rather eat a cheeseburger than a piece of cake on their birthday??? For someone that watches endless videos on YouTube on How To Make the Best Burger???
Well… This is it!
Sad to say that I did not fill the cake with meat, but rather a nice, light passion fruit mousse. I have my limits! But here’s the best MANLY grill cake that you can definitely make at home!
The cake is made from a simple, classic round form, covered in black rolled fondant, and the details were molded from colored rolled fondant. In total, I believed I used about 600 g of fondant for the entire cake (ca. 22 cm or 8.6 in in diameter).
Sounds easy enough, right? The hardest part from the entire cake is probably finding the fondant!
If you’re in America: Check out either A.C. Moore or Michaels, depending on where you live in the U.S. They both have rolled fondant.
If you’re in Germany: You can find your rolled fondant here, at: Pati-Versand Rolled Fondant
Now’s the perfect time to try out this simple Grill Cake. Whether it’s for a grilling lovers birthday, a casual backyard grill party, or even for Father’s Day in June… you’ll definitely impress everyone!
