After being in my home town for the past few weeks I would like to bring you guys a little comfort. I’ve been able to get my fill on comfort while being on vacation, eating the best comfort food from home, cooking the best comfort food and, as always, baking the best comfort food.
When I think of feel -good, comfort baked goods, these beauties always come to mind. A warm, sweet cinnamon-y roll for a wonderful late morning treat is exactly what I like to call comfort. I can’t really thing of anything better to enjoy on my very long vacation. I always come back to these cinnamon rolls. It is a very classic recipe that uses a yeast dough and topped with a cream cheese frosting that is to die for! I’ve posted this recipe a few times over the past few years and I will continue to re-post this great recipe because it is a keeper!
So if you’re in search of a little comfort, try these cinnamon rolls out because I can promise you that they will satisfy any kind of craving you might have! Believe me, they are worth the time it takes to make this yeast dough. Plus, most of the time making these rolls is in letting the dough rise, so there is not much “hands-on” time, which gives you ample time to sit out on the porch and get into a great book!
