Pumpkin Puree

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 Celsius or 350 Fahrenheit.
  2. Slice the pumpkins in half.
  3. Scrape out the seeds.
  4. Slice the pumpkins again into quarters and place on a lined baking sheet, skin side up.
  5. Bake for about 40 minutes until the skins are brown and the flesh is soft.
  6. Remove from oven and let cool enough to touch.
  7. The skins should peel off very easily at this point. Discard them, and puree the orange flesh.
